2 new songs featuring Jaz

This was posted by Rheinhold squeegee on the gathering mailing list

This is the resulting collaboration discussed a few years ago after Jaz met Duff McKagan (GnR), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam) and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) at the 2012 Metal Hammer awards. As far as I can tell, it's only available to purchase as a vinyl single.

I post this as KJ-related information only; save your indignation regarding subjective quality. Listen to both tracks on the band website here:

Well, not my cuppa tea...first song is too much ordinary US Heavy Rock ala well G&R and P- Jam Jaz`Vox are great, but in this combi it sounds odd to me,2 song well ordinary <Rock Ballad...

I dig it. Jaz is folky and hard at the same time. And these musicians are mostly from my area so it's pretty f. cool in my book.

Got the vinyl. Sounds 10x richer...alot more depth...very full spunding compare to the webpage listen. I dig the 1st track alot. Wish I could hear 6 or 7 more uptempo and crunchy songs like The Fredom Song. Would have love an EP. McCready can play some interesting material. Its like a slimed down Alice in Chains meets early years Pearl Jam meets
a touch of Killing Joke mysterious.
I like this Pacific NW sound meets Jaz. Every regional land has a flavor. Jaz fits right in here. Glad it was recorded in London. There's a dark somber quality to both areas and I hear such in this Freedom song track.
