The great Mark E. Smith has gone

The great Mark E. Smith has gone

Last Wednesday he has passed away...very sad. I don't have every Fall-album, only a few and all the Peel-sessions, but for me he has been maybe the last representant of independent music, he had his very own style, never changed it, he has never cared about mainstream, politeness or the music industry...he had his own way and that was great. An irregular head in music, maybe the last. For more than 20 years he has been on my top-5-wishlist for concerts I wanted to go to once, but I've never had the chance, because he was touring GB constantly and avoided Germany. Now my list is closed except Peter Hook and the Light.
